Winter is coming…
Summer is come and gone, and we are now in the wet and windy season! Your outdoor furniture has served you well over the summer, from endless BBQs to lazy weekends in the sun. It’s now time to retreat inside to keep warm and dry but before your sunny nights become a distant memory, take some time to ensure you store your outdoor furniture correctly! Here are some of our top tips!
Clean, Clean, Clean!
Give your furniture a good clean before storing it for the winter. Wooden furniture? Use a protective wax. Wicker furniture? Use a moisture repellent. Mental furniture? Rub off any rust and add a rust preventor. Make sure the furniture is completely dry before storing it away!
Don’t forget the accessories!
Strip your cushions down and chuck them in the wash! Spot clean any stains and try to remove as much dirt as possible beforehand. Clean any extras down with soapy water and make sure everything is dried before they are stored.
Store it!
